Castle of the Llamas
A poor example of what the GW-BASIC compiler can do!

Castle of the Llamas was a DOS game written in GW-BASIC and compiled with the rarely found GW-BASIC compiler. The game requires a true IBM PC compatible with CGA graphics. In the game, the user controls a hero in search of the golden spattoon in a castle infested with ogres, snipers, and llamas. The plot line is suprisingly thin.

Anyone attempting to play this game should be aware of the shortcoming in the game control loop that allows the character to walk through walls if the cursors are held down. It's all part of the fun. The current record in beating the game is 5 minutes, held by myself, Jeff, the author. Please enjoy!
