Exhale Source Code

Exhale is released under the GNU General Public License. Please familiarize yourself with the terms of the license before releasing any modified Exhale code.

Exhale was developed in ANSI C using Bloodshed Dev-C++ for the compiler/IDE. The project files accompany the source distribution. The code has been cleaned for release, but may be a bit obfuscated or blatantly wrong .

If any users wish to submit changes and improvements to the Exhale base distribution, I would be happy to include them. Changes can be submitted to Jeff Armstrong. At this time, Exhale does not yet have a project website or management scheme. If there is enough interest, it may be added soon.

This distribution contains code that is copyrighted by Digitial Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard).  However, due to the code's age and nature, distribution is most likely safe.  Any changes made to the code during the port to the Microsoft or OpenWatcom compilers are in the public domain.

Sample source code is available in the distribution. If you'd like to view a simple example, download the following file:

The above libraries and code will need GSX-86 for MS-DOS to run.  The following are distributions of GSX-86 for MS-DOS/PC-DOS

Threaded Freenet Get

Threaded Freenet Get has only been tested and compiled on Linux, but its requirements are pretty lean. To compile from source, the user system must have gcc/g++ 3 or higher, the standard set of libraries, and the GNU PThread library. All this is usually installed by default on any modern Linux or *BSD system. The source code includes a slightly modified version of the ezFCP library.

Threaded Freenet Get version 0.1: Download!

Note: Threaded Freenet Get is not designed to aid in illegal activities. It is merely a tool that was designed with with purpose of aiding in the acquisition of legally available information. The software, however, is GPL, and has no restrictions on its use.
